2. Natural herbal dyed with manjishtha roots
3. Ancient plant mordant (Color binder) is used in dyeing
4. Jala weaving done to create ancient cow motif in pallu and parijaat flower motif in body
5. Meena work in the motif
Natural dyed Jala Woven Handloom Silk Saree. Jala weaving is now a rarely done due to time cosuming technique. Meena work is done to further beautify the motif.
Ancient plant mordant "Lodhra" (Symplocos) bark and leaves are using in binding the natural herbal dyes used in dyeing of mulberry silk yarns.
Each saree takes minimum 3-4 days to complete on the loom.
