Kotpad Black Dupatta
Kotpad Dupatta has woven in pure cotton with extra weft and 3 shuttle technique.
Natural (Aal) Dyed Kotpad Dupatta has been woven in Pit loom by the Tribal Communities located in Kotpad, Koraput, Odisha. This Dupatta has been woven in coarser cotton with tribal fish motifs. Aal dyed extract from the root bark of Aal Tree which gives deep reddish maroon shades. It is very fast to wash & this natral dyed technique only practice in Koraput district of Odisha, India.
