Phulkari embroidery, practiced from a centennial in Jammu region, is a needle embroidery craft articulated with vibrant coloured silk threads. However, Calico Printing is a wooden block printing technique, originated more than a century ago in district Samba of Jammu region, mostly applied on cotton cloths with alluring colours.
